Nature photography is a longtime passion of mine that eventually sparked my professional career in photography here in Nashville, Tennessee. Many industry folks say that, to be a successful nature photographer, one should be in the West; however, I have made it my challenge to find beauty whever I am.

To this day, my favorite pastimes include journying to areas where no sign of man’s “progress” is visible. For whatever reason, I feel more alive at these times than any other, allowing my spirit to soar and inner peace to prevail.

As a nature photographer, I take in a view of my environment in total — then I strive to position my camera in the perfect location, at the perfect time. But it’s so much more than being in the right place at the right time; it’s about creating photographs that will stir someone to experience the vision of the wonder I enjoyed when the shot was taken.
